The nasty truth behind Hillary's big win.

March 5, 2008 / by godsblog

Had an interesting conversation with a Republican Aunt last night. It seemed to coincide with an effort by Radio skag Laura Ingraham to encourage Republicans to switch sides for the day and vote for Hillary. The Republicrooks fear a McCain vs. Obama fight, knowing that, in all likelihood, Obama would mop the floor with the ancient statesman. There is such a visceral reaction to Hillary, for all sorts of reasons that she stands a better chance of being trounced by McCain. Ironic that, after more than two decades of Bush and Clinton dynasties, McCain would be the face of change Americans seem to be craving!

In the hours and days to come the facts will show that how the results were swayed by well organized Republican voters to spin the primaries away from Obama, who seemed, going into this latest round to be a shoe-in for a victory. Who can blame them for strategically supporting their candidate, though apparently he is the chosen one with fingers firmly pinching noses.

Republicans are hoping that the elitist and undemocratic super-delegate system, a significant liability for the Democrtic Party, will favor Hillary at the convention. She is going to play a number of insider cards here for the edge over Obama. Something the Republicans are counting on, and working actively towards. Mark my words.

I'm afraid you hit the nail on the head. If McCain becomes president, I think I'll join Kirk (Amerigobard) and become an expatriate.
