Not Just Lazy!!!

Welcome to the club to Bruce Lewis, a Blogster blogger. Godsblog is going strong and growing around the country. Currently articles are shared by more than a thousand readers each week. Which brings me to a recent complaint from a reader.

He asked if I was losing steam, losing heart, or just being lazy? The number of articles has fallen off a bit lately. Truth of it is I have been hard at work on a controversial new novel that should be out early this summer, and available on Barnes and Noble.com. I have also been active working for the release from prison of Chicago police officer Mike Mette. Mette wasb the victim of a corrupt legal stsyem in Iowa last year after he struck the son of an influential businessman while defending himself. The judge in the case, in which the drunk man who was hit walked away, conceded Mike was acting in self defense, but "should have had the sense to walk away." For that Mike was sentenced to five years. I will have more on this case later in the week, with links to sources.

The novel is titled BROKEN:ONE SOLDIER'S UNEXPECTED JOURNEY HOME. It tells the story of a young soldier returning to a small town and the pieces of a life he left behind. Along the way he meets an old man who claims to be a survivor of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. BROKEN is an ode to America's service people, and to those who return home with scars far deeper than those of the flesh. Regular readers will know that I don't pull punches or dance around the truth. I tell it like it is, and BROKEN is no different.
