So basically it is sort of like this: you can't win the game against a formidable opponent so you throw the game and gloat over winning against the crippled guy. We all know Hillary comes with a lot of baggage, and the Republicrooks are praying that she goes up against their sad, sad little candidate McCain. All day righties have been calling into the Rightwing talk shows and telling how they crossed party lines to vote for Hillary. A novel approach in elections? No, but the fervor with which they relate their horror stories of being Dems for a day betrays the pathetic nature of their party, and underscores why the right shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the White House. They don't want the best candidate in office, or even the candidate the people of this nation want. Instead they want to manipulate the votes to favor the person they think their loser candidate might just beat. Not that they love McCain. In fact, the nuts on the right view McCain as a Liberal, when the truth is he's a weasal, dripping in corruption who would barter his children's reputations when assaulted by Bush and Rove, only to cozy up to them after the election. Furthermore, as a member of the Keating five, our current economic perils, as well as the housing interest rate crisis owe their origins to McCain. Pathetic. Just pathetic!

Also, how very pathetic, that John McCain was the winner in so many early primaries -- by democrats voting on the republican ballot!!!!
That was some's chosen strategy, not mine, but some. Help their least favored pick get ahead, because that will discourage efforts, and make the half that are corporatists in the Republican party fight with the half that are racists or bigots. Then watch them tear themselves apart.
shows that there are weak people in both parties that care more for their ideology than the country.
He's a creature, thats for sure. But hey, John Hagee likes him, and he likes that endorsement too.LOL
I recently heard a broadcast interview with Hagee about Muslim fanatics. Now that's comedy!
I have to laugh at anyone who votes Democrat and thinks he's actually helping the country. Talk about irony. Not that I'm Republican, but Democrat is even worse. May as well hand the country over to every liberal idiot with an agenda.
Oh wait...."liberal idiot" is a redundancy. My apologies.
If you are not a Republican than why do you think like one? Are you one of Rove's clones?
What is your reasoning behind "Democrat is even worse". Sounds like you got hurt by someone of our ilk and so hate the whole philosophy.
SAD!
I cannot understand how someone thinks that calling half of all Americans names furthers this country. I have to much respect for individuals to label them as idiots or evil. What happened to respect for the loyal opposition?
Believe it or not that principle was forged in the United States with each power struggle over politics. It is the most unique thing that American gave to the world.
On the other hand I have no respect for those who follow a party line, any party line, without thinking of the consequences. The first consequence of calling names is to stop listening to the name caller and all who agree with him or her. The next consequence is to not welcome any of their ideas which are now tainted by their self-absorbed vitriol.
Excellent post... The losers in the coming election will be the American people who have little to choose from. The Clinton's are interested only in personal wealth and power, Obama is an unproven lightweight and McCain as you point out is nothing more than a Washington insider who continues to support a war we cannot win.
