Get yer tickets, folks and take yer seats. We got us a horse race. On the Left the favorite, and strutting confidently as front runner, Hillary. Obama, Edwards and Kucinich are the challengers. And on the Right, head held high and a favorite to win the race, Romney, challenged by Huckabee, Guiliani and Thompson. It's a bright, warm day, and gettin' warmer, a perfect day for a race, ladies and gentlemen. There's a big fight out in the parking lot. Seems the Right started it. No end in sight, especially since the Right seems more worried about the 2 guys kissing out by the barn.
Aaaand here's the bell. Hillary and Romney take a commanding lead. Looks like they're gonna run away with this one, and they know it. Looks like Hillary and Romney all the way. Oh, what's this? Here comes Obama and Huckabee. Hot on Obama's tale is Edwards, a cocky little gelding with a gleen in his eye. They might give the front runners a run for their money. Hillary shrugs it off, she's not worried. Romney's kickin' up dirty, doin' his best to trip up Huckabee.
Kucinich is fighting to keep up in the back field. He's makin' a lot of noise, gettin' a number of folks in the stands to pay attention, but with those short little legs, poor Kucinich don't stand a chance. Poor old Biden, a scrappy breed, sadly never made it out of the trailer.
Guiliani's struggling. He started strong, but he's just got too many damn riders; couple ex-wives, disgruntled 9-11 first responders and Bernie Kerrick. Poor Guiliani exercized just one good leg to prepare for the race, the one with the 9-11 tattoo. Thompson's gone off on a tangent, running to the side to sneer and grumble at the press box. He thinks just bein' ornary will win him the race, but it's just gonna get him a fast track to the glue factory.
Spinning into the Iowa turn its still Hillary and Romney, but the folks in the stands are changing their bets. These 2 might be long lost twins, manufactured and marketed pure breds. Romney still trying to trip up Huckabee, now hot on his heels, but is blinded by that big shiny cross around Huckabee's neck.
And it's Hillary and Obama neck and neck on the Left. Is that sweat on Romney's brow as Huckabee pulls up. Seems to be getting smacked in the face by that cross. Romney had the best trainers money could buy, but just can't...Whoa! Huckabee charges way out in front! He's makin' a show, but he'll need some dental work. Them bubba teeth could be his downfall.
Spinning out of the turn Hillary is struggling, could be that extra baggage she's been carrying:votes for the Patriot Act, the war, and votes on surveillance legislation. AND NOW HERE COMES EDWARDS!
Never seen anything like it.
Spinning out of the turn it's Obama and Huckabee out front. Edwards pulls slightly ahead of Hillary, while Romney rally's his strength to a push into the New Hampshire leg of the race. But coming into the stretch it's Obama and Huckabee. Edwards is a fighter though. Obama, best be looki' over your shoulder while keeping an eye to the track ahead. Lot's of deep ruts ahead.
This race ain't over by a stretch folks. Hold them tickets. It's gonna be a wild one.....

The race is over on the Dem side. I would not take less than 50/1 odds against Obama. Only another Dem beaking his leg can stop him now.
