    I use to see this very nice flight attendent from time to time working flights at my gate at Chicago's O'Hare. Not long after 9-11 I asked another attendent what happened to her. She said the girl was killed in one of the planes. Now and again I try to reconcile her smiling face with the horror she must have experienced. Thanks for the story.

    Toady for the rich? Snivelling at the feet of the corporations? Is that the kind of America you want, or the kind of American you wish to be? As for the troops? The time has come for chickenhawk patriots to stop hiding behind their sacrifice. Try wearing the uniform and better still go and see what war is really like, as I did. The facts speak for themselves and this country is in real trouble, not from outside, but from inside. As far as the skin color comment...What?

    Accidentally deleted your last message. I agree that we have been marginalized. My articles are passed around in some bizarre sort of virtual underground railroad. The question is, who is censoring or downgrading us? Republicrooks? Democratic party zealots, or the neo-corporate blandness strangling the culture? Keep fighting.

    Guess their guy can't stand up against a viable candidate like Obama. So then what exactly are they voting for? I guess anything with a an "R" on it, except something that strengthens the flag and constitution. Real Americans, huh? Sounds like bitter, poetty people to me.
