Well, Bush's Frankenstein government in Pakistan, by its own incompetence is proving it's complicity, if not downright guilt in Bhutto's assassination. "Doin' a heck of a job brownie, I mean Musharraf." Announcing the case as solved, despite that they never interviewed a single witness, or member of her entourage showed they had no interest in actually solving the case. Now it turns out the doctors who treated her are missing, and their notes have been confiscated.
Bhutto, 54, was hated by Pakistan's three competing spy agencies, all with close ties to Al Qa'eda and the Taliban. On Tuesday the government announced elections, scheduled for January 8th, would be postponed. No doubt until Musharraf can figure another way-with tacit approval of Bush, and virtually every other Republicrook presidential candidate( and yes Righties, Hillary ain't much better)-to retain the dictatorship. AND WE WONDER WHERE TERRORISM COMES FROM?
There still has been no investigation of the October 19th attack that killed 140 Why should anyone expect anything different now that their goal of having her killed was finally realized. Following her death doctors urged a post mortem, but police officials refused. The family did not trust a government inquest and she was buried, in keeping with Islamic tradition, the next day. But by law the the government had an obligation to order an autopsy. Their offer to exhume the body never materialize. there was never any real intention.
Meanwhile, the latest video evidence shreds the governments mythology regarding the murder. Her scarf is clearly seen moving suddenly, apparently independent of the gunman firing at her from the left rear. It seems to indicate a second shooter, perhaps the sniper some witnesses reported, firing from the front. That would be consistent with the entry wound in Bhutto's head and the jagged and depressed skull fracture. Witness and aids described a shot to the neck. A sniper firing above Bhutto would account for both as entry and exit wounds.
In Iowa, Presidential candidates demonstrated this country's continued apathy and ignorance of events, cultural and politics in that vitally strategic country. John McCain seemed uninterested in truly understanding events there and looking for solutions to the crisis, Instead, he perpetuated the tried and true terrorism lines, indicating support for Musharraf's murderous and illegitimate government, despite the views and democratic desires of a majority of the Pakistani people. So much for importing democracy. Then again, those MUSLIMS just hate freedom anyways-SARCASM BUTTON PLEASE
