Announcement

I'll be off next week to socialist Europe, where they hate god and the Muslims ar taking over. Surely I'll expect to see suffering hordes waiting at ill equipped clinics and hospitals, underpaid doctors who could care less about their government subsidized patients, a continent in decline, with high unemployment, Mosques on every corner, churches boarded up and general mayhem. Surely the Republicrooks, who rely on the fact that only about 17% of Americans have ever travelled overseas, and a sizeable portion of those in the military, would like that other 83% to believe the rest of the world is in absolute mayhem. makes it easier for them to see you the Right wing agenda on everything from terrorism to healthcare.

Next week we'll put it all to the test. i'll sit down with some folks, some cops, some regular folks and hit a hospital or two just to see what is really going on in Europe. Am i coming to this with a bias? Only the one based on nearly 20 trips to Europe, and having friends and relatives in 6 countries. But if things suck there I'll say so. I live here. I'll probably die here, so why would I want to bring a failed system home?

ALSO, stayed tuned for an upcoming series about the real human cost of the war on terror. based on my real experiences on the frontline of the w ar on terror, this is a story too dangerous to be told any other way but as a novel. BURN DOWN THE SKY will change the way you see the war on terror.

    The new blogster sucks ...

In the middle of my comment ... poof it saves without me doing anything ...

.... as  I was saying, not that important, i suppose, but I put my soul into my writing, and I try to wake people up to the corruption in our government, but some people just get off on shooting at messengers ...

I did a lot of work from 2000 on to make people aware of the nature of this administration and I paid a heavy price ...

I'm going to enjoy my financial freedom, publish my book of poetry, and get away from the negative energy of Blogster ...

I'll send you a private mail with my personal email...

I like your energy, dude. I'll be in Greece around mid-June ... gonna go saiing ...

My first novel comes out this spring. Looking forward to hearing about your too. Folks with something to say need to flood the culture with real substance and intellect, instead of the tripe that it produces for sheer commercial volume. Fast food disney crap! As for the critics, I  pay a price for my politics, and though my paintings are critically acclaimed commercial success isn't there, which is fine, even preferable. I write and paint and fight for my soul, and for the journey. If you do that with integrity you will always be in the minority, but it is  a precious minority. Check out my new article "Standing Alone," and enjoy Greece!

You and Amerigobard have a lot in common. Stay in touch with him. Enjoy (if that's the right word) your trip. I anticipate your report.

Europe is like a breath of fresh air. It is like stepping out into a fine spring day after a tough winter, at least for me. I crave a different perspective on things. Even though most of the trip was for business, I was with great people and met some new friends along the way. Good to hear from you.
